Abstracting everyday essences into patterns
I had to think of using textures, colours and patterns to represent the 'Essences' deck. Going abstract was the only way I could do justice to each non-tangible feeling. It was almost therapeutic drawing the cards as I had to give in to my subconscious instincts rather than the conceptual subjects I usually work with.
